Cold pressed oil is richer in vitamins and unsaturated fatty acids. It is much heavier than refined oil and, as such it is more suitable for regenerative oils and in medicinal preparations (used very often in combination with jojoba wax for face care and medicinal preparations for the treatment of skin and fungal infections). It has a characteristic taste and it is an excellent food supplement with an antioxidant effect (preserves the cells against the effect of free radicals).
